69th Republic Day - Flag Hoisting 26th January 2018

The Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the 69th Republic Day of India on Friday i.e. January 26th, 2018 at the Consulate premises. Consul General, Mr. Prem Kumar Nair, unfurled the Indian flag at 9.00 a.m. and read out the Hon´ble President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind’s address to the nation on the eve of the Republic Day. The guests at the function included the resident Indian nationals, District Secretary, Hambantota, local Government and police officials and other friends of India. Refreshments were served after the event.
