Tree Plantation & Movie Screening at Mahinda College to Celebrate Gandhi @ 150

As part of Gandhi150 celebrations & in remembrance of Gandhiji's visit to Sri Lanka in 1927 ,Consul General Mr. Prem Kumar Nair together with Principal Mr. Gamini Jayawardhana & students of Mahinda College,Galle, planted 10 trees at the school campus on 16th January 2020. Lead tree is Coromandel Ebony with 9 Plumeria trees. Parallel to the event " Lage Raho Munna Bhai " Movie was screened on the same day. A large number of school children enjoyed the film with their teachers.
