77th Independence Day of India celebrations in Southern Province, Sri Lanka

Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the 77th  Independence Day of India on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Consulate premises in Hambantota with great patriotic zeal and fervor. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Consul General Shri Dipin P.R followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, the Consul General read out the text of Hon’ble President Smt.  Droupadi Murmu’ s address to the nation on the eve of the Independence Day.
