The Consulate General of India, Hambantota joyfully celebrated the vibrant Festival of Lights – Diwali 2024 – with the Indian Tamil community at Sri Sithivinayakar Temple, Monaragala on 29th October 2024. The evening was filled with devotion, cultural vibrancy, and a spirit of togetherness. Traditional rituals, festive lights, and heartfelt celebrations illuminated the temple grounds, reflecting the essence of Diwali – the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
