On 23rd November 2024, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the vibrant Festival of Lights – Diwali 2024 with the Indian Tamil community at Sri Mutumariyamman Hindu Temple, Deniyaya. The evening was illuminated with traditional prayers, festive cheer, and a spirit of togetherness. The celebrations reflected the cultural richness of Diwali and strengthened bonds of friendship and community harmony.
