Photo Exhibition “India Through Sri Lankan Eyes” at Weherahena Poorvarama Raja Maha Viharaya in Matara

On the occasion of Unduwap Poya Day on 14th December 2024, Consulate General of India, Hambantota, organized an exhibition titled “India Through Sri Lankan Eyes” at the historic Weherahena Poorvarama Raja Maha Viharaya in Matara.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Sunil Handunneththi, Minister of Industries & Entrepreneurship Development and Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh in the esteemed presence of Chief Priest Ven. Kegalle Rathanasara Thero. as Mr. Ganesh Amarasinghe, District Secretary, Matara and Prof. Saman Chandana Ediriweera, Former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna were also present at the inaugural event.  The exhibition was remained  open to public till 16th December 2024 at the temple premises.
