76th Republic Day Celebration of India in Southern Province - Reception

On 26th January 2025, Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh hosted a National Day Reception at Hilton Weerawila to commemorate the 76th Republic Day of India. It was an honor to welcome H.E. Bandula Harischandra, Hon'ble Governor of Southern Province, and H.E. Kapila Jayasekera, Hon'ble Governor of Uva Province, to the occasion.

The reception was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including MPs Mr. Ajantha Gammaddage, Mr. Lal Premnath, Senior Prof. L.M. Abeywickrama, and other senior dignitaries from the Southern Province. Their esteemed presence added warmth and significance to the celebration.

The evening was a vibrant display of India's rich heritage, marked by the camaraderie and warmth of diplomatic ties between India and Sri Lanka. Heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished guests for their gracious presence and support in making the event a memorable occasion.
