Photographic Exhibition - India Through Sri Lankan Eyes which was held on 17th August 2016

CGI, Hambantota organized a photo exhibition ‘India Through Sri Lankan Eyes’ at Tissamaharama Rajamaha Viharaya, Tissamaharama to coincide with full moon Poya Day on August 17. The exhibition was jointly inaugurated by the the Consul General of India and incumbent monk of the temple Rev. Dewalegama Dhammasena Thero. Former Speaker of Sri Lankan Parliament Chamal Rajapaksa who happened to be in Tissamaharama town at the time also visited the exhibition. Around 600 devotees who had come for religious observations in the temple on the Poya Day viewed the exhibition. A documentary film on ‘Land of Buddha’ was also screened on the occasion.
