71st Republic Day of India celebrations - Dinner Reception

To commemorate India’s 71st Republic Day, a dinner reception was hosted by Consul General, Shri Prem K. Nair, at the Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel on 26th January 2020. The reception was attended by about 80 guests including Dr. Willi Gamage, Hon. Governor (SP), Mr. A.U Welarathne Secretary to the Hon. Governor, Secretary Ministry of Fisheries (SP),Secretary Ministry of Sports,Youth and Cultural Affairs (SP), Secretary Ministry of Agriculture(SP), District Secretary, Matara, Deputy Chief Secretary (Training) Deputy Vice Chancellor, Deans and heads of various faculties of Ruhuna University, Municipal Commissioner from Galle, Members of Chamber of Commerce & Industries from Galle & Matara & Hambantota and other prominent local persons. Documentaries on India’s strengths and achievements, tourist attractions were screened on the occasion.
