73rd Republic Day of India celebrations in Southern Province, Sri Lanka - Flag Hoisting

The Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the 73rd Republic Day of India on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Consulate premises in Hambantota with great patriotic zeal and fervor. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Consul General Mr. Dipin P.R followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Many distinguished personalities, including, District Secretary, Deputy Mayor, Naval Commander of Kavanthissapura Naval Base, Senior Government officials, Local police officials, officials from Hambantota Chamber of Commerce, representatives of hospitals etc. participated in the flag hoisting ceremony.
