75th Republic Day of India celebrations in Southern Province, Sri Lanka

The Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the 75th Republic Day of India on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Consulate premises in Hambantota with great patriotic zeal and fervor. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Many distinguished personalities, including, District Secretary, Deputy Mayor, Officials of Tri Forces , Senior Government officials, Local police officials, officials from Hambantota Chamber of Commerce, representatives of hospitals etc. participated in the flag hoisting ceremony.
