As a part of celebration of 8th National Ayurveda Day on 10th November 2023, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota in collaboration with Department of Ayurveda, Southern Province, organized a successful Ayurveda Medical Camp on 9th November 2023 at Chethiyagiri Meditation Centre, Bolhinda, Kaluwarawewa in Hambantota District.  This event witnessed a remarkable attendance with more than 150 attendees from diverse age groups, reflecting the growing recognition of Ayurveda as a holistic healthcare solution. 

This noteworthy initiative offered free Ayurvedic medicines, consultations, and comprehensive check-ups to visitors. Renowned Ayurvedic specialists from Department of Ayurveda, Southern Province provided valuable insights and recommendations educating attendees on the principles and benefits of Ayurveda in promoting wellness.
