Celebrating 155th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

On 2nd October 2024, CGI Hambantota commemorated the 155th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with a special program at Mahinda College, a place of historical significance as Gandhiji visited the institution during his visit to Sri Lanka in 1927.
Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh honored the occasion by paying a floral tribute to the Father of the Nation. The event was further enriched by a soulful Bhajan Geet performance by the talented students of Mahinda College, echoing Gandhiji's values of peace, harmony, and spirituality.
This event served as a heartfelt tribute to Gandhiji’s enduring legacy and his timeless message of truth and non-violence.
