To mark the occasion, the Consulate also organized a special lecture on
the theme of “Constitutional values and fundamental principles of the Indian
Constitution” & a photo exhibition on the theme “The Making of Indian
Constitution” on 25th November 2022 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Humanities
& Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna. On 26th November Consul General
and officials of the Consulate read the preamble of the Constitution which
professes guiding principles of India.
The Photo exhibition was inaugurated by Consul General Mr. Dipin P.R
along with Vice Chancellor, senior professor Sujeewa Amarasena, Deputy Vice
Chancellor Prof. Saman Chandana & Dean of the Faculty of Humanities &
Social Sciences Prof. Upali Pannialage.
The special session was conducted by Dr. Sampath Rajapaksha, Senior
lecturer, Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Science,
University of Kelaniya. Students & lecturers from Department of Public
policy attended the special session.
