Consul General's Visit to Thissamaharamaya Raja Maha Viharaya in Thissamaharama

On the 10th of February 2024, Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh embarked on a visit to the Thissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya in Thissa, where he respectfully sought blessings from the revered noble triple gems. During his visit, he had the honor of meeting with Chief Priest Ven. (Dr.) Dewalegama Dhammasena Thero, engaging in meaningful discussions that underscored the importance of cultural exchange between India and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, Consul General actively participated in the inauguration ceremony of the annual whitewashing of the Sacred Stupa, symbolizing his commitment to fostering mutual respect and understanding between communities.
