Handing over of Humanitarian Assistance in Hambantota District

Continuing the Support to the people of Sri Lanka Consul General of India, Hambantota Mr. Dipin P. R commenced distribution of rice, milk powder in Hambantota District on 5th July 2022 at Hambantota in the presence of Mr. H.P. Sumanasekara, District Secretary and other officials. This humanitarian assistance programme will benefit around 75000 families in Hambantota district alone. This is a part of Government of Tamil Nadu's assistance to the people of Sri Lanka, comprising 40,000 MT of rice and 500 MT of milk powder, which is being distributed across the island currently.
