Handing over of Indian Humanitarian Assistance in Galle District

Consul General of India, Hambantota Mr. Dipin P. R commenced distribution of rice, milk powder in Galle District on 7th June 2022 at Divisional Secretariat, Galle Four Gravits in the presence of Mr. Shantha Weerasinghe, District Secretary, Galle, Mrs. Himali Rathnaweera, Divisional Secretary, Galle Four Gravits and other officials. This humanitarian assistance programme will benefit around 47860 families in Galle district alone. This is a part of Government of Tamil Nadu's assistance to the people of Sri Lanka, comprising 40,000 MT of rice and 500 MT of milk powder, which is being distributed across the island currently.
