As a follow-up to the visit of High Commissioner H.E. Santosh Jha to Christ Church Girl’s School, Baddegama in March 2024, CGI Hambantota has taken a significant step to enhance the learning process of students by setting up a smart classroom. This Smart Class Room aims to provide an interactive and modern educational experience, equipping students with the latest tools for digital learning.

The smart classroom was officially inaugurated on 3rd September 2024 by Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh, alongside Mr. Sumith Alahkoon, Chief Secretary of the Southern Province. This initiative reflects CGI Hambantota’s commitment to improving educational standards and supporting local communities. The new setup is expected to foster an engaging learning environment, empowering students and teachers alike.
