India Corner at Artisan's Gallery 2023 Industrial Exhibition

From December 3-4, 2023, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota, proudly organized an India Corner at the "Artisan’s Gallery 2023" Industrial Exhibition held at Hall De Galle, Galle. This prestigious event was orchestrated by the Industrial Development Department under the Ministry of Industries in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The inaugural ceremony, held on December 3, was graced by the esteemed presence of Consul General Shri Harvinder Singh, who inaugurated the event alongside Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, the Minister of Industries and Health, Sri Lanka. The India Corner showcased a catalogue exhibition featuring exquisite handicraft items from the states of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand. This cultural exposition aimed to foster collaboration and celebrate the rich artisanal heritage between India and Sri Lanka.
