World Hindi Day 2021

Consulate General of India, Hambantota celebrated the World Hindi Day through a series of competitions with active cooperation & participation of Sri Lankan students pursuing Hindi language in various districts of Southern Province. The competitions were organized to provide these students a platform and show literary and linguistic competencies in Hindi. Considering the challenges of COVID-19, these activities were organized through virtual platform. Students representing Galle Matara Hambantoata & Monaragala districts took part in these competitions. On 10^th January 2021 the award giving ceremony was organized at Matara Co- Operative society hall. Winners of the competition were awarded with prizes, certificates and consolation prizes were also given to other students.
