Consulate General of India, Hambantota presents Books to Madawelana Maha Vidyalaya & Beralihela Maha Vidyalaya

Consul General of India, Hambantota Mr. Dipin P.R visited  Madawelana Maha Vidyalaya & Beralihela Maha Vidyalaya on 22 February 2021. Consul General had a fruitful discussion with principals of both schools and interacted with the school students.  During the occasion, he presented required reading materials and other reference books essential for the comprehensive development of the students. 

02.       The Books were presented to the Mr. Nalan Jyasekara, Principal of Madawalana Maha Vidyalaya & Mr. Priyantha Alahakoon Deputy Principal of Beralihela Maha Vidyalaya by Mr. Dipin P.R, the Consul General of India, Hambantota. The Principals, Teachers & Students deeply appreciated the contribution of Consulate General of India, Hambantota to their school. 

03.       The Consulate General of India has been interacting with Schools in Southern Province since the beginning of the Consulate through various activities such as presenting Musical Instruments, Offering scholarship programmes for students, conducting cultural programmes, yoga programmes and workshops. In addition to that every year India is offering 794 scholarships to students in Sri Lanka to study in India.
