Tourism Interactive Session at Matara

Celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Consulate General of India Hambantota organized a special interactive session with Tourist organizations in Southern Province on 30^th December 2021 at Matara. The session was focused on various tourist attractions in State of Bihar & Uttar Pradesh in India especially on Buddhist Circuit. The Interactive session was attended by many tourist organizations from Southern Province and the Consulate’s effort on organizing the event was greatly appreciated by the stakeholders of tourism industry in Southern Province. 

The Consulate General of India has been interacting with Tourist organizations in Southern Province since the beginning of the Consulate through various activities, events and   has been striving to provide prompt visa facilities to Sri Lankan Nationals & Buddhist Pilgrims traveling from Sri Lanka to India.
